Curriculum Management Learning Redesign: Enhancing Accessibility & Engagement
Project Brief
Client: Stanford University - Curriculum Management & Scheduling Team (2023-2024)
Learner Audience: Stanford Student Service Officers & Advisors
Project Overview: The Curriculum Management team sought to revamp their existing training approach, which heavily relied on lengthy Zoom recordings (over 1 hour) and scattered how-to guides that were difficult to locate on the intranet. The challenge was to enhance the accessibility, engagement, and overall effectiveness of these resources to better support the team’s needs.
Conversion to Asynchronous Learning: Transitioned live training sessions and their recordings into five engaging, online asynchronous courses using Rise. This shift allowed for more flexible learning, enabling team members to access training at their own pace and revisit content as needed.
Intranet Learning Library Redesign: Overhauled the existing intranet learning library to improve resource discoverability. I introduced a more intuitive structure and created a dedicated onboarding page that clearly outlined the essential resources for new team members.
Enhanced How-To Guides: Redesigned the how-to guides within Rise to significantly improve readability, accessibility, and engagement. The new format made it easier for users to quickly find and understand the information they needed.
Tools Used: Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Google Suite, Drupal
